Hector Serrano studied industrial design in Valencia before earning a master's degree at London's Royal College of Art in Product Design. Founding his design office in 2000, he has since worked with several clients including FontanaArte, Gandia Blasco, ICEX Spanish Ministry of Industry, La Casa Encendida (Caja Madrid), Metalarte, Roca, Tourism and Trade, and Valencia City Council. Over the course of his career, Hector Serrano and his studio have won a number of awards including the Premio Nacional de Diseno No Aburridos, second place at the New Bus for London competition, the Peugeot Design Award, and Designer of the Year 2009 by AD magazine.
