Benno Mirror
In 1956, Benno Premsela designed the equally ingenious and simple Benno mirror. After almost 70 years, the mirror has become a true design icon. Recently, under the creative direction of Studio RENS, the mirror options have been expanded with three new special colors and a larger 100 cm diameter version.
The story goes on to Spectrum asking Premsela to design a beautiful interior accessory. Premsela looked through the stocks and semi-finished products Spectrum had and extracted a wooden ring for a small table. He made a slot in this and notified Spectrum that he had finished his design. The Benno mirror was a reality.
The Benno mirror consists of a beech plywood circle with a 50 or 100-cm diameter. The square mirror slides into the frame through a slot at the top. The frame is available in black, green or cobalt blue stain. Also limited available in natural beech.
