Superluna 397 - Floor Lamp
Design: Victor Vasilev (2015).
2x Max 7.5W (LED).
On his debut in Oluce, Victor Vasilev proposes the design of the SUPERLUNA lamp originated from a personal reflection on the work of Vico Magistretti, from his ability to develop iconic forms to enhance the potential of the light source. So, now that LEDs have revolutionized the world of artificial light by giving the possibility of reinventing lighting from their source, Vasilev proposes a family of lamps - declined in the floor, table, and wall versions - that comes from a desire to make a very technical light magical, dimensioning the parts of the lamp starting from the LED encumbrance.
The thin metal rod of SUPERLUNA hides inside the electrical components and guards the light source: the LED opens on the stem at the hemispherical caps that reflect its light by rotating on its axis.
